Access 2 Justice Self Help Center to Open

Legal Aid's newest project, the Access 2 Justice Self Help Center (A2J), opened on September 7th.  The Center will meet a critical need in the Omaha metro area by providing information, assistance and resources to people who are in a situation where they cannot obtain an attorney.  Individuals who meet Legal Aid's financial eligibility requirements will have access to: computer workstations with access to legal websites and automated forms; brief assistance on consumer issues; legal clinics on paternity, custody, child support and and community legal education.  Handbooks on a broad array of legal topics will be available to the general public.
