STAFF ATTORNEY   (North Platte)

Legal Aid of Nebraska, a law firm providing free civil legal services to low-income persons, seeks an Associate Attorney for its North Platte office.  Successful applicant needs good research, writing, litigation and communication skills. Excellent supervision, training and support provided. State-of-the-art-technology. Help seek justice for low-income Nebraskans. We are looking for an individual who is interested in providing quality legal assistance in Lincoln County, Nebraska and surrounding communities. Applicants having ties to this or surrounding central Nebraska communities preferred. Loan assistance repayment may be available assuming eligibility for Legal Aid’s repayment program.  Experience-based competitive salary. $2,000 language bonus for Spanish-speaking skills. Excellent benefits package, including pension. Nebraska Bar or out-of-state bar with pending waiver application to Nebraska bar required, but will consider applications from highly qualified 3L students.
